New (And FREE!) Pattern: Holiday Earflap Hat

Happy Holidays from the Domestic Knitter!

I know, I know. It's only September (tomorrow), it's too early to think about the holidays, and it's still too hot to knit with wool.
I understand and sympathize! However, now is the time to start thinking about gift knitting, so I have thoughtfully provided you with a free, easy earflap hat pattern for the special little ones in your lives.

Holiday Earflap Hat

Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted, 1 ball (MC) and Knit Picks Chroma Worsted, 1 ball (CC)

Gauge: 5 sts and 7 rows = 1" in stockinette stitch worked in the round on US6 needles

Size: To fit a 2-4 year old or 20" head circumference. Finished size 19.5" circumference

Price: FREE!

One note on the yarn: The hat took almost the entire ball of MC and only about half of the CC, so to be on the safe side, you could buy 2 balls of MC and make a second hat with the leftovers! Two gifts checked off
your list!

Thank you all so much for your continued support. Please enjoy!
